School keeps me busy. I have no time to bake or be creative.
This was a fast cake for my husband's birthday. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE)

Cake was red velvet. The green balls :P are Christmas candy with chocolate filling.
I think my skills are slowly improving.




My Challenge cake (due on April first for my cousin's birthday/bridal shower) is the ultimate test of my skills. Tort ma byc trzy-poziomowy na 80 osob, w kolorze sukien bridesmaids (czyli turkus). Zakupilam juz na amazon.com plastikowe filary ktore beda pelnily funkcje structural support. W tygodniu zaczynam pracowac nad kwiatami i ozdobami.

Safari Baby shower

                                        My December creation.....SAFARI Baby shower. 



Cake was Lemon flavor with pinnaple chunks (delish). Cupcakes were coffee flavor with cappuccino icing.

Those are lemon cupcakes.

It is the first time I ever made those coffee cupcakes and I was told that icing tasted almost butterscotch :P they were awsome!

Kolezanka mojego meza z pracy organizowala baby shower o tematyce safari. Plec dziecka pozostaje niespodzianka.

Oczywiscie popularna amerykanska tradycja jest BABY SHOWER, czyli przyjecie (dla samych kobitek) na ktore przynosi sie prezenty na jeszcze nie narodzonego dziecka. Gwiazda wieczoru jest przyszla mama. Zajmuje ona na ogol udekorowany fotel na srodku sali i podkoniec uroczystosci otwiera prezenty czytajac "co od kogo", i dziekujac slicznie za wszystkie koszulki, butelki.....papmersy itd. :)

MY BIRTHDAY

I know this is not a custom to be baking your own Birthday cake, however what I wanted would cost at the bakery 250$. I made it for about total cost of 25$.
Black&White theme decorations were made with the use of a sillicone mold.

I guess it must have tasted pretty good since it was all gone before the end of the night.

Because this is such a poor photo of a such nice cake, I promissed myself to hire a professional photographer. :)
